Sharing Fiji

with Friends and Family

I thought this would be the best way to share photos with you.

If you want any for yourself, just give me a call, text or email me.

FYI--all photos are taken with a regular digital camera...nothing special...no filters or zooms! I think it's just a matter of having a good view!

I thought I would start with what everyone expects to see...

beautiful water and white sand! It really is this beautiful!

Most were taken on a day cruise...Mala Mala, Snorkel Island, Honeymoon Island.

The last one (below) is on the Coral Coast (south coast of large island).

I have been to private islands on a schooner (for the 4th of July)

and the other ship below more than once...to different islands.

This enabled me to take this picture as we were heading back into the marina.

Below is the schooner "The Whale's Tale" that Serevi piloted at one time.

There were more people on it but it wasn't as much fun as the smaller cruises.

But there is also a whole island and not just the beach that is breathtaking...

AND the skies are breathtaking too...

Below is the river on the outskirts of Ba (north coast on main island).

Just a little way from here is where they bottle FIJI WATER.

(For my friend that refuses to drink water because fish poop in it...this water is from an artesian well AND is filtered through lava rock...never touching air (OR fish) before bottled! So drink already!!)

Rafting in the interior on a bamboo raft...with Serevi and his nephews!

The water is only muddy because there had been a cyclone a few weeks before.

Just a few more pics I think you will enjoy!

Fire dancers...a show at the marina.

(Ladies...there is nothing quite like watching half naked men dance!!)

Floating in the shallows with a noodle!

Climbing the same hill where the national rugby players train! Like I need it!

Traveling with my mother and aunt just before Melissa's wedding (2005).

HOWEVER...this is the real reason I go to Fiji...just to be abused by short guys!

(BTW...they both have their "cute face" on for the camera!)

And YES...that really is a jelly fish Pita is sharing with a young tourist!

In May, Pita turned 5 and Masi turned 2. (Here with cousin David)

Thank you for letting me share!! I have lots more...but I think this will be fine for now!

Always...Leslie
